Sweet Grass Farm candles are in plentiful supply.  Our recent additions include Lavender, Green Tea, Lemon Verbena and Tangerine/ Bergamot.  And SWF also makes a lavender-scented Baby Wash and Lotion.  Grandma will love giving this to the new baby.

Books

Books have arrived at Contessa’s. Among them for children: Walk the Dog, Penguins Everywhere and Stella Is A Star. We also now feature Bibs to go.  For our adult readers,  Slow Cooker and Casseroles were a hit last year. If you are inclined to cook,  these are a must have.  And they make a great gift for the newlyweds.  Those fall cozy suppers will benefit from these repeat titles.  Stonewall Kitchen’s “breakfasts”  is also available now.

Blue Crab Bay Co / Bay Beyond, Inc.

Blue Crab Bay Co / Bay Beyond, Inc. has arrived at Contessa’s. We sampled this appetizer line at the New York Gift Show in August and decided it’s a great ‘edible’ edition for our gift giving customers. You have to try “Sting Ray” the scrumptious Bloody Mary Mix. It was voted by the New York Times as winning top honors in the blind test taste of eight Bloody Mary Mixers.  Included in the line is a Party Pack, a Dip assortment of clam, crab and shrimp kits and a Wild Salmon Spread kit. If you like crunchies, try our Sea Salt Nuts and the  Crab House Crunch. Tastings will be scheduled on Sundays in October from 1 to 2 p.m.

Inner Ocean Nautical Soaps

Inner Ocean Nautical Soaps from the Eastern Shore are 100% vegetable-based glycerin soaps. They are hand-crafted using nutrient rich seaweed. Included designs are Crab, Starfish and Sand Dollar.  And we have a gift package of six assorted small soaps.

Emilie Sloan Totes arrive on Friday, October 1^st. Added to the collection is her latest fabric pattern called Sagewood: a yummy brown and green combination. All other fabrics and styles are also in our new shipment.  Come by and try them on.  These oil cloth totes are spacious, comfortable, affordable and there is a fabric design to suit each persons personal taste.
