Lamp Sale at Contessa’s!

Vintage Lamp

Our newest vintage lamp acquisition has a carved alabaster and brass column. It is weighted and has a new shade typical of the early 1900’s.  A splendid way to light a more formal living area. This lamp will not be included in our upcoming lamp sale.

Vintage Glass

Contessa has found four lovely pieces of vintage glass for you. An ice bucket, a small drink pitcher with a glass stir, a decanter and a crystal diamond-cut bowl complete this collection.

 

Crab Towels

Blue Crab motif towels with waffle weave material just arrived from California today. They are crisp, functional and perfect to present as a gift if you or a friend has a beach house or absolutely loves the creatures of the sea.

The Foot Stool

Our local upholstery business, right on the Avenue, has recovered this foot stool. The frame has been stained dark mahogany and the muslin fabric nicely finishes this very functional piece.

 

Victorian Table

Restored by Contessa, this Victorian side table was charred in a fire in Boston. It has been sanded and stained, the legs have numerous repairs. Nevertheless it is a handsome specimen of this moment in time.

 

Funny Christmas Tree Creatures

These guys are made from the fiber of a palm tree. The eyes, ears, nose, feet etc. are made from seeds, pods and carved wooden pieces. These cuties are quite sturdy and will not be damaged by handling. Great presents for anybody to give to everyone.

   

  

Scarves

Contessa’s has received over 100 scarves for Fall and Winter in wonderful colors of gray, beige, coco, green, black, blue and charcoal. We have many styles to choose from. Perfect gifts or great for your own outfits. They all are soft and cuddly. Please come in and try them on.

Vintage Turquoise Lamp

Lamps at Contessa’s are unique and this one is really cute.  It is turquoise 1950’s pottery with a brushed gold inlay.  We have purchased a new shade typical of this era.  It gives off great light with a three-way switch.  It stands 25.5” tall.
