Mother nature never disappoints us during our Fall season.  Blossoms continue to come and foliage turns the most pretty colors.  Our garden is reaching its seasons end, but for now it is so beautiful to watch.  If you are out and about this evening or tomorrow stop by and see us.  Lots of new things at the shop and remember we are open in the evenings until 8 p.m.

IMG_0716If you are having invited guests for cocktails, lay out these hot chili pepper towels on your kitchen island.  Dress with wine and a bucket, and your favorite cocktail offering.  Add these chili pepper cocktail napkins and your favorite nibbles. Now, call your guests to the kitchen for lite fare.  So darn cute.

Beginning Sunday we will be serving “British Tea.”  J.D. Miles Tea is imported to us direct from Somerset in the UK.  It is dark, rich and oh so delicious.  Honestly you will not find any tea quite like it.  Our British customers always say it is hard to get here in America. Stop in on Sundays between Noon and 5 p.m.  We love to share this superb tea with you.  It will really pick you up.

Just a little time away…………….

Harwich Inlet – one of our favorite spots – it always welcomes us as we arrive in Cape Cod. It’s the first place we go to smell the sea air.
This tree at the Harwich Inlet is about 200 years old a

Greeting Me Each Morning – Personalized Menu with Gluten-free offerings – all home made. They took such good care of me on this trip.

Front Porch Settee – nice at sunset
Side View of the Inn
The Carriage house – with two suites called “Breezing Up” .

Pretty striped petunias everywhere

Many youthful summers spent here
Ahhhhh – Harwich Beach – like coming home. Generations of our family spent time here. It’s clean, tranquil and the fresh air is to die for. We can never get enough of it.

A storm moving in – lots of wind at the beach today

One of my fav shots – love those beach grasses and pathways. I am always looking for treasure that the sea has thrown up from her waves.

Yum – The Lobster Pound – we had a one and half pounder and a dozen steamers. it was WOW!
The Brewster Store – you name it they have it. Right in the center of Brewster on Main Street – one block from the Candleberry Inn.
The famous Brewster Country Store

Typical Brewster Residence – right behind the Brewster Store
Simply the longest bench we have every seen – at the Brewster Country Store.
Oldest weight scale we have every seen. And it works!
