In conjunction with our new business “transition” at Contessa’s we are planning to secure more “Art” for our store and vintage literary volumes.  This event is an opportunity for us to connect with art dealers and book collectors throughout the Eastern region of the country.  And,  it is a terrific opportunity for us to establish ongoing relationships with curators of other auction collections.  Art and vintage volumes are a true passion of ours. so stay tuned for an expansion in the future of some very cool additions at Contessa’s.

We  love Mondays  You usually stop by when you have seen things over the weekend that you like and simply could not live without.  We like this of course.

We will still sell gift items and many of our lovely gifts will continue, but our new gift items will have a special emphasis on “Home.”

Downton Abbey VIP Private Tour with no ropes

You have watched every episode of Downton Abbey and probably own boxed seats of each series. Contessa’s will be conducting a one week tour in September of 2015 and  you will be able to relive some of your favorite moments through our exclusive access visit to Highclere Castle, the family home of the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon.  In addition, there are On Location visits to some of Oxfordshire Cotswolds villages featured in the different episodes.

Topped and tailed with time in London, the tour also includes leisurely visits to Hampton Court Palace, Blenheim Palace and the University of Oxford.

Thursday at Contessa’s

Hi from Contessa’s.  Another great day ahead.  We love the sound of spring. The birds are having so much fun right now.  And the flowers are doing their thing in full force.  This is a quick season so enjoy!

If you are in the neighborhood, stop by.  We have some new jewelry from our Nashville, TN designer, Elly Preston. Very cool stuff. And if you are thinking about getting started on potting plants we have a great selection of our eco-friendly -biodegradable planters.  This years colors are just the best.  We have sold these for six years now.  You love them and so do we.
