Road trip to Boulder, CO for Contessa

Contessa is close to departure for CO. We leave on Thursday the 18th. Visiting my Irish ancestral burial ground, my college, a slew of first cousins, and then on from Omaha to Denver and finally Boulder, CO. I will miss all of you, but this new chapter in life for the next couple months will bring family together, and I will finally get to really know my CO grandchildren, Ben and Sienna. Very excited about this.

Parnassus Used Bookstore in Yarmouth, Mass.- Amazing!!!!

ContessasHome visited the Parnassus Book store in Yarmouth Mass. www.parnassusbooks.com. The most amazing collection of used books we have ever seen. Terrific amount of books on Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Totally amazing!!!!! We shall return next year for sure. It was sooooo fun and inspirational.

126 Galleries on Cape Cod

Cape Cod has over 126 art galleries and today because it’s going to be overcast and raining a bit we plan to visit several. Our new e-commerce site ContessasHome on Etsy,com is where we will share new acquisitions from the art world. Today should be a great day for browsing some of the galleries. And later today we will hook up with family in Wellfleet. We love an occasional cloudy day at the Cape. Tomorrow we are spending the morning in Chatham and back to the beach in the afternoon. It’s all good for Contessa.
