So very sad to leave Beacon Hill our most recent Estate.  It was such a joy to be here. Finished up today. It was a great weekend. image Such high regard for this place from our visitors. Our Loom equipment and fibres were a huge draw for the locals  image image

We shall miss the beauty of this place and the tranquil breezes, the animals and their sounds, not to mention the trees, grasses and fenced pastures. I for one could live here in complete abandon. Beacon Hill we will miss you!!!!

Check out this pair of Mid-century modern, reticulated and lighted lamps. Very cool. We often see them at auction. Pairs however, are a little less often seen. The best part, they are white and the new sculpted shades are a welcome addition image image Also there is a sizeable collection of teak furniture at this event.

Looms, looms and more looming equipment. Not to mention pound upon pound of wool. All produced on this Leesburg farm. Mohair, pelts, baby lamb (kid) wool, alpaca and goat. Organizing, researching and pricing it all today. A new information source for Contessa    Yesterday a local woman from the Looming Guild came by to help provide very useful knowledge for this project. This is big business for those who loom  Very interesting learning experience  I am now a new loom and fibre expert. Who knew?

Amazing!  Honestly felt like i was in heaven. Watching the sheep being shorn and then in formation released into their pasture. The green grasses, the beautiful breezes blowing, and the lambs making their way into their field. It was a sight to see. By the end of the day there were sixty in the pasture. Baby lambs too. So very sweet.
