Vintage Wrought Iron Plant Stand, Circa 1940. Wonderful with a large Boston Fern inside. Line the vessel with moss and you are good to go. We found this one in Harwich on Cape Cod. It’s off-white and rust distressed. It stands. 40 1/2″ and us 14″ square at the base. The round basket-like top is 16″ deep and 14″ across. You could paint it if you wish, but we think the weathered look “as is” simply fits the piece. The wind will not blow this one over. It’s very sturdy and about 10 pounds. Small Broculas with Spring 7″ Globe, Yard Art, hand-crafted by an iron worker/welder on a farm in rural Illinois. Specs: length/8″, width 18″, height 23″. Vintage distressed/rust & off white. Wind will not blow it over. It’s a great piece to use for growing petite ivy. Very nice placed in the center of a garden bed. We own one and its up on top of our barrister bookcase. A great compliment in your office or library. It definitely creates a statement on its own. We love it. $59.
Vintage, hand-painted, black Toleware, Nashco Metal serving tray with petite handles. Circa 1940. Original manufacturer sticker is still on the back of the tray, Nashco Products of New York. The tray is chip and alcohol resistant. It measures 15 3/4″ x 11 3/4″. Flower motif design, and signed Anatole. Colors of the flowers are predominantly sage green, periwinkle blue and rose. The leaves are green. Handles have a bit of wear from years of use but could be touched up if you dare to change its provenance. For its age, it’s in superb condition.
