Contessa Finalizing. Appraisal

Contessa will be in Middleburg Friday and Saturday wrapping up appraisal for another estate sale. We love  this town and the countryside. Soooo very beautiful.

Take the time to go for a drive while  “mother nature” gives us this beautiful spring season. The countryside is teeming with beauty. 

If u get out this way, make it over to Upperville which is just up the road. I suggest the Hunters Head Pub For “bangers and mash.”  Yum!!!!  And if u are so inclined, enjoy it with a cold Guinness

Contessa in Middleburg, VA

Contessa continues working at the estate site in Middleburg, VA. I am here today until 3 pm. Then will break for lunch in town at The Red Fox.  Will also visit a certain fav shop. Weather is a little gloomy but the VA countryside is beautiful and today there is a horse show one mile from the estate. We were by there this morning to watch the riders and horses doing their jumps and runs. So cool. Back to Alexandria by evening

Contessa is at the Middleburg site for another Estate SALE. This is an appraisal appointment.
While in Middleburg, and later today, we will visit the White Elephant. A great consignment shop if you have never been. You definitely should check it out the next time you are out this way. it’s a great find

Next week we are looking at a Bethesda sale and possibly another Middleburg event

Contessa will be here all day. There is much here. It’s a wonderful sale.Temps in the 80’s. We are very thankful. It could not be a better day.

Warrenton, VA – Day #1 – Estate Sale

Today is our first day to welcome buyers and guests. Looks like our prayers for great weather were answered. Looking forward to a fun and productive day. We have worked smart  and hard to prepare. It should be a wonderful day.

Contessa in Warrenton thru April 18

Contessa continues Thursday thru Saturday in Warrenton, VA. This is a large estate sale but we are getting closer to finalizing placement and final pricing. We have made some wonderful discoveries and researched some quite nice art. Mostly small oils in some very nice frames. Looking forward to Saturday the busiest day of the sale. Of course we are praying for superb weather.

The week of April 20th we head to Middleburg for a new adventure   We will keep you posted on this new estate once we arrive

if you have never experienced auctions or estate sales you should consider trying it out.  It’s a whole new world in buying, selling, curating and acquiring.

April 10th, Day 3, Warrenton, VA.

Yesterday was a huge pricing/appraisal day   A basement chocker block full.  Enough extra everything to open up a store. Close to finishing the basement  Here today 10 to 3 pm.

Driving out we discovered a Wegman’s in Gainesville Va.  To avoid the afternoon thunderstorms we will do some grocery shopping and head back to Alexandria/Del Ray about 7 pm.

Contessa In Warrenton, VA, Sale Prep

Contessa continues pricing and sorting at this Warrenton estate with a main residence and seven outer buildings including two large greenhouses. This is greenhouse number three. We will be here for three days this week. It’s definitely a “Contessa” kind of assignment. Tons of things to make our way through. Simply Fun!
